What version of flea treatment do you have? You may have an outdated
subscription that is not new enough to kill some of the latest fleas. Check
the respective anti-flea treatment manufacturers' web sites to see if you
can download newer flea definitions. Some may require purchasing a
subscription...

If you are on a tight budget, you might try searching dogmeat.net for some
open-source anti-flea products. They are often more difficult to use,
especially for a new dog owner (for instance, the dog collar and the flea
poison may ship separately, and you may be required to apply the poison
manually--in which case, be sure to follow the directions very carefully to
ensure proper and safe usage), and sometimes the flea definitions are not
quite as up-to-date... but the price is right!

Failing this, you may try the "reinstall" option... by reinstalling the dog.
This is usually accomplishd by shooting the dog, then visiting the pet store
for a new one.

If that fails, then the flea infestation is probably effecting more than
just your dog. As someone else suggested, your house could be infected, in
which case I suggest demolishing your house, and building a new one from
scratch to be sure you've eradicated all traces of the flea problem. If you
go to this measure, be sure to do a LOW-LEVEL rebuild... i.e. remove even
the foundation of your house before rebuilding. Otherwise,
foundation-sector fleas... or even worse, termites, may still survive the
fresh rebuild.

Best of luck!
