Do you have any form of DOS on your 486?

If so the easiest way to do what you want is to copy the files to floppy on
a computer that has a CD-ROM and then copy them to your 486 system into a
directory of your choose and install directly from the harddrive on the 486
system.

You only need the files in the main directory of the CD rom and the CAB
files in the win'95 directory... you don't need the other directories unless
you want the demos, games and odd device drivers for older versions of DOS.

Make sure that your 486 has MS-DOS 5 or older and or some non-MS DOS system.
