In addition, if you use two of the same (particularly 3c509's)
sometimes the machine will fail to recognize the second card.
I don't know, but maybe this is 'cause it thinks it's done if
it's loaded the required module once (?)...
Simple: If they use two different modules, then the modules will have
different names, makes keeping them straight in you noggin a little easier.

I'm setting up a box w/ 2 NICs. One howto I was
reading said it's better to use two NICs that require
different modules instead of two that use the same
module. Is this true? If so, why?
