If I recall correctly, the windows install has a
pretty brain-dead approach to disk
partitioning--first, it checks for free space, if it
finds some, it creates its partion there, without
disturbing the existing partitions. If it finds no
free space, it asks for permission to claim the entire
disk for itself. Assuming that there was free space
set aside (not partitioned) when windows was
installed, all you should need to do is to set up lilo
as described previously. If there was no free space,
and Windows took the whole disk... the rest of the
story should be pretty obvious.
