hi, help needed: i do not know if any of you have ever come across this
problem , but a gateway machine in my network outputs error messages like
this sometimes to the console: eth0: RX-TX-dirty entry no.3ce230 and hte
like. one of the network admins i know too accounted of having such an
error displayed in his gateway machine. then, he said that doing ifup lo
would solve the problem, atleast temporarily. and it did, or alteast
seemed to. also, for sometime when this message is displayed, the network
ilnk seems to be down. i do not know the exact reason or solution of this
problem. a web search said it might be due to complicated/wrong network
hw/sw config. or a realtek driver problem. any help is greatly
appreciated. thanks in advance.
regards,
Hareesh.
