Woop, sorry about that, I caught the discussion mid-thread.

I am surprised that it didn't install m4, since so many other things seem to 
depend on it. But, frankly, I haven't been too impressed with Mandrake 
lately. Seems to have problems in everything except the "standard" 
installation methods. I've tried "upgrading" twice on my machine before and 
it's hosed things up both times. The last time it claimed to check for free 
disk space...then proceeded to run for like 16 hours, running out of space in 
/usr not too far into it and leaving the system completely unusable. 

I'm wondering if Mandrake has enough people testing things besides a normal 
install from CD...
