 Alright,
I know I'm a weenie in the true linux world of Debian users but I use
Mandrake, alright???? And last night I stayed up all night doing an
inter-network install. Now I'm running 7.2. The reason I did this is that I
wanted to be able to use kdevelop 1.4. Now I upgrade and kdevelop is not
included in the new mandrake distro. So I start the process of downloading
the rpm's to get kdevelop going and after downloading the entire source tree
from kde I discover I don't have a package called m4. Does anybody know what
the H**L m4 is? I can't find anything on it. Also, believe it or not,
autoconf and automake do not come with the new distro. What a huge pain
because they have some unsatisfied dependencies that I can't find on the
internet either. I would use Archie but then Archie is not in the new
distribution of Mandrake either. Anybody have any words of wisdom besides
switch to Debian?
