Partitions?  Cant be copied because of the physical differences in the
drives. (unless you want to throw away a large part of the new drive)

Create the new partitions on the new drive, format them, then use tar to
copy the files from each partition   Use the man pages on tar to be sure you
have exactly what you want for each batch of files.

You will need to rerun lilo as well as copying all the files so it installs
the boot sector on the new drive.
