i'm have ssh1.2.26 now and would like to
start using ssh2.1.0

i'm running debian linux 2.2.14-storm

i understand ssh2.1.0 has a patch

if i download the tar.gz for ssh2.1.0 and its patch,
do i just untar and then do debian/binary rules
to use dselect on .deb packages?

i haven't been able to find much info on ssh2.1.0
and i'm rather new to the dpkg/dselect method

can someone please give me some direction?

thanks
bert
