Also like I said I am running mandrake linux how do I know which files to download, alot of em have .spm or something like that

The various Quakes run on Linux, as does Unreal Tournament, but the newer ones
require a 3dfx card (other accelerators don't have support). Also check out the
tucows linux archive, freshmeat.net, and www.linuxgames.com

It'll do tons of other useful things too!
