A few city naming features:

Put two more buttons in the "Build New City" dialog: "Skip" and "Reject" (actual wording should be discussed)

Pressing Skip will provide another suggestion for city name, while Reject will do the same but also add the rejected name to a reject-list whose content won't be suggested again. An option somewhere could be be able to release rejected names. This function could help players that have a strict idea about the relative geographical placement of a nation's cities and otherwise have to open and cancel the Build new city-dialog numerous times.

Continuing the neat-to-have city naming functions: Here's one inspired by this mailing list post: http://lists.complete.org/freeciv-data@xxxxxxxxxxx/2002/05/ msg00044.html.gz

In city dialog, Settings tab, next to Rename city button: A new button called "Rename with natural city name" or the like. This button will rename the city with a name from your nation's city list. Quite like for example say the Turks have done with the majority of cities in modern Turkey.

As an extras, it would be cool if all "historical" (in the context of the game, not actual history) names of a city would be saved in an array, and available in a dialog or drop-down somewhere close to the other "Rename..."-buttons. Then a (human) player re-conquering one of his/her cities could easily revert to the pre-conquest name of that city.

Daniel
