Another alternative is to make 'Modern' equivalent to the 20th century, 
and make a 'Contemporary' or 'Postmodern' group for all the post-Soviet 
nations.

I'd also like to see a 'Colonial' group, where the now exclusively 
'Modern' colonial masters (e.g. British, American etc) can fight it out 
with colonized nations, for example my upcoming Maori, Aboriginal, as 
well as various Amerind nations.
