  Much better compression. Even level 1 bzip2 compression is much better 
than level 9 zlib compression - and faster too.


  Autogame with autosave every turn (ends to failed assert at year 1974):

  bzip2 used is old 1.0.2 version and it should be possible to find more 
optimal parameters for freeciv savegame bzip2 compression.
