Hi,
The 2 value is the quincuncian topo with the quincutial patch(6721 +
7280). for play this scenario in normal cvs we need at last a N-S wrap
to preserve islan at N-W side of map from to be isolated, a Uranus topo
is ok for it, a torus ok too.
But torus is too far from quincutial wraps, i no like it. and the flat
topo isolate the island!.
i thinck uranus is the best until quincuntial topo was included. we can
play the map and get a preview of Earth in Pierce-Quincuntial projection
witout the apropiated wraps!.
in last #7280(basic topological extention + Mobius) i preserve uranus,
as in normal cvs. but in 6721(reverse canvas + quincuntial) i delete it
because the nubers of topologies are big and uranus is exaclty the some
as classic (rotated 90°) but when including the 6721 we can preserve it
if you like.
the best is extend savegame to save a symbolic name for the topologie
and not a number or at last choice fixed numer for all topo. this is
possible with the last init_topo code in #7280. But i am witing some
singnal to continue working.
Best regards
