I want such an option, for other reasons (I have filed it, don't know the
PR# yet).

I want an option that only centers map for fights, in which my *own* units
are involved. In bigger games, with alliances, shared maps, and some active
wars, you are permanently distracted from doing your own stuff by these
centerings.
