This is the point. There is not enough information about how hard it
(cvs branches, merging, tracking the official tree,...) is. So it is a
good experiment IMHO. 

As Per is away/will be away I will change the patch so that the patch
fulfill my criteria. And it will go in after a review phase. BTW the
review phase of the CMA hasn't shown up reproducible bugs so it will
be applied in the next days.
