Lets start with the flame... No, not really, I take ... hmm ... opinion!

Okay, now you can look through it and see the stuff under it, but now
it's nearly impossible to tell the difference between irrigation and
farmland. Maybe they should be colored slightly differently or something
like that.

But no, I think, the solution rather lies in changing the drawing-order in
the gtk-client. I had a look at this piece of code when I tried to make
borders some month ago, so I'm not completely unfamiliar with. But not
today anymore, so much to do, so little time. ;-)

PS: I think, there is a policy not to send files > 40-50k to the mailing
list but load it up to ftp-server.
