There are some freeware/GNU tools for windows to compile it with cygwin.dll I 
think. Or just make a gcc crosscompile

No, we are currently using Gtk for graphics but I am planning to write a 
SDL­client in the future.

by the way, after my holidays I am going on to make my sound support finally 
working under other platforms.
