since upgrading to the 1.12.0 client, I am seeing non-printing and symbol glyphs
in several of the dialogs.

The text affected is usually smaller. for example, when the periodic historian
lists popup, the text is unreadable.
Another and more annoying example is in the City Popup.  The text the left of
the 
map is unreadable.  I am unable to ascertain any statistics (gold, trade, prod,
etc) from
that dialog.
