I'm going to submit feeciv entry, but have some question about
   entry format.

   1.
   %%developers:
   %%contributors:

PEOPLE file of all contributors and developers is 20kB plain text
and seems to have about 300 entries (many repeated it different subsystems,
about 100-150 present and past developers and contributors).

What should I put here ?
The URL for the file (I'm assuming it is on the Web somewhere).
   2.
   %%category:
   %%keywords:

Any base list of keywords ?
There's no base list for keywords. There is a base list for category, but our
program generates that automatically. There have been few complaints so far
about the categories that the programs have been put in.
   3.
   %%use-requirements:

Is X and toolkits libs to be listed on use-requirements list ?
toolkits libs- yes. X- no (if it's an X program, we assume you've
listed X in the interface field, and people will understand what that
means.
   4.
   %%interface:

freeciv needs both terminal (for server) and X (for clients).
Server can be run from a script either.
   What to put here ?
Put all that apply. It's ok to put more than one.
   5.
   %%build-prerequisites:

list obvious things like make or gettext
and/or obvious libraries (that of toolkit used)
Yes, please list them. just to make sure.

   6.
Any plans for including documentation about free software into
database ? What about more general documentation having something
to do with free software ? (tutorials, howtoes ...)

 Not so far. We
thought about it, but decided to get welll along with the software
part of it first, then look at other options. I think it' a good
   idea, though.
