I miss this too, but you can use the city dialog (f1) and the change
production button. Very useful indeed

Strange, I can mark multiple cities in that way. Which client are you using?

I'd like to see it in a civ2 pedantic mode, but it is _very_ powerful.
I think parts are already implemented.
BTW: Please break your lines at 72 chars, it makes it hard to read :-)
