Thanks for finding this bug.

The Known Bugs page on the web site is automatically generated from the
BUGS file in the source code (and distributions).  The BUGS file contains
"use the <Tab> key to", but when that is copied into an HTML file, the
"<Tab>" looks like an undefined tag, so it is simply skipped.

I've modified the script to translate "<" to "&lt;", and ">" to "&gt;".
