In an unrelated note, I'm currently playing a month-long game
with a girl who uses 1.8.1 (she has windows and no X server, so
she has to use the latest native-GTK port) and I'm using the
following custom ``tileset'':

lalo:~> ls -l .freeciv/mix
total 0
lrwxrwxrwx    1 lalo     lalo           20 dez 29 23:03 flags.xpm ->
../trident/flags.xpm
lrwxrwxrwx    1 lalo     lalo           19 dez 29 23:12 roads.xpm ->
../brunus/roads.xpm
lrwxrwxrwx    1 lalo     lalo           16 dez 29 23:13 space.xpm ->
../dwp/space.xpm
lrwxrwxrwx    1 lalo     lalo           20 dez 29 23:18 tiles.xpm ->
../trident/tiles.xpm
lrwxrwxrwx    1 lalo     lalo           20 dez 29 23:19 units.xpm ->
../trident/units.xpm

Try it. For some of the ``trident'' tiles, you may substitute
``engels-30'' - specially for tiles.xpm, they look mightly cool.
