[Freeciv-Dev] Monitor Port

I have been hosting a few games at civserver.freeciv.org and I have been
mulling over the things that would be interesting to see in the server
code.  

What about a monitor port that you could restrict access to that would
allow someone (like a host) to connect to the game to monitor it?
