        Hi,

I just notice that in the german translation, all the 'you <VERB>' were
translated into 'du <VERB>' ('tu <VERBE>' en francais), using the familiar
form.

I was about to use a more formal form ('Sie <VERB>' auf deutch, 'vous
<VERB>' en francais), so I wonder if it is a delibarated choice.

I always saw myself playing freeciv as being a kind of president or king,
to whom my advisors and executors talk, reporting how my civilization is
doing. Thus, the choice of the formal form.

But if there are good reason to use familiar form, I'll use it. How did
other langagues cope with this problem ?

        Philippe
