I'd like that feature, if the timeout length is a client option.

So Linux sucks because it doesn't provide time travel.
Well, Freeciv does :-)

BTW Freeciv was recently 'discussed' on /.  As usual, most of it is
unspecific ranting ('the graphics suck', 'open source games never make
it into the marketplace', etc.).  Enough to turn me away from /.
