Option
- my reaction
1: we have debian/ in the .tar
- I'm happy for the effort you spare
2: we don't have it in the .tar but we do have it in CVS
- I'm still happy, but I'll build packages from CVS
(ie when there's a release, I "cvs update", make a
tar of it and use it as .orig.gz)
3: there's no debian/ anywhere
- I'm out. No hard feelings, but I've been trying to quit
being FreeCiv's maintainer for quite some time, and David's
idea of having debian/* and something like build.debian in
CVS were the reasons why I came back. I don't play it a lot
(and I'm a very poor player, I don't last half an hour
against an AI) and don't even understand half of it. My fun
is in coding and helping. So I will find better things to do
with my time.
Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but I hate duplication of
efforts. And I hate when something (seemingly good) is done and
then people decide to undo it.
But (users), please judge your opinion by the options, not by my
reactions.
