  I would wait with that until I've got a message from the
University of Bremen: They forgot to publish a clear copyright
statement and it is only *my* interpretation of German law
that the map used is in the public domain.

BTW: I've put a final version on my site
    (http://www.informatik.hu-berlin.de/~hasselma/) and I did
    release the sources (the GIMP file)...

When I get a positive answer from Bremen I will upload to
images to freeciv.org...
