I still think that my proposal is the best one (duh), so I'll repeat it:

Know from the context of ai_role when a unit must or must not have a valid
goto.

I like the idea of punit->goto_dest->x anyway, since this ensures that the
server goes down in a spectacular crash when something goes wrong.
