Wow, that being the case, I'd say you were right on the edge with the power
supply anyway. Best bet would be to go for a case/ps. Several retailers in
the area including (I don't work for or get anything from them, so it's not
a plug) Ribbitt, Cybertron, and Computers Plus. Your biggest concern is
probably going to be how well the mounting points align with the holes in
your motherboard. Hopefully HP followed suit with many other box makers when
they just used a commodity mobo with a tattooed BIOS to make it "their"
board.
One other thing, have you tested the "new" monitor on another system to make
sure it isn't the monitor that is exhibiting the symptoms, and not the video
card?
