After greylisting URIBL is by far the most effective thing we've
found. For instance yesterday:
63.51% of all mail was on the URIBL, which was 83.70% of all messages
marked as spam.
What's also nice about URIBL is that since they are pretty fast about
listing new URLs, we actually use it in place of where we just to keep
local blacklists. We can submit a URL to it instead of a local
blacklist and still have it show up in the next 10-15 minutes or so
(we cheat a little bit because we're a URIBL DNS mirror but still its
pretty quick).
