Since it seems to be a time for ideas...

What ideas do people have relating to ACLUG and business application of LINUX
based technology solutions.

Most of the posts I've seen are related to applications of LINUX in a
home/personal environment (example: Home LAN setups).

What I would be the most interested in would be sharing ideas and experiences
about how LINUX can be used in the business world.

On an organizational note, I've never been to a meeting. And, to be honest,
I'm not sure that I'll ever attend one. I can understand all of the
frustrations that have been stated in recent messages.

Organizations like UGs are _always_ in a state of flux. Maybe it's time to
have quarterly (or monthly) meetings and try to develop more of an online
presence through the website. Maybe we could "meet" on discussion boards.

The most important thing to remember is respect. I've been put off by some of
the responses I've received relating to questions. But, after re-reading and
gleaning the helpful information from what I considered to be terse language, I
was thankful for the assistance. And I try to always be respectful of those
offering advise.

Thanks for your time,

Matt Pankratz
