Thanks for all the suggestions.  I will pass them on to my brother and
see if any of them work.  The more I deal with Windows, the more I
dislike it.  Yesterday my wife logged into her machine and all her
settings; wallpaper, start-up sound, etc., were gone.  I couldn't find
them anywhere.  Too bad Windows doesn't have a nice home directory and
text configuration files.
