supposedly, generation II (aka gen2) is supposed to take care of the "line
of site" problem...  be it a cell-based service or something completely
different, who knows...  we pretty much weren't told jack about it
(however, i actually worked for getronics, not sprint)...

yeah...  that's one of the numerous reasons the wichita market has taken a
nose-dive...  they were charging too much for a system that was/is hard to
get...  which caused me and about 9 or 10 others to get laid off last
week...  : ^ (
