Friends,

If you live close to one of the telephone stations listed in the
previous e-mail you may be interested in "Free" DSL. My friend Bob
Nuckolls and I are setting up our own networks to serve our own web
sites. I live close to a substation, but I'm moving out of town soon.
He lives just out of range of the station that is located at Douglas and
Oliver.

We'd like to find someone who loves computers who is willing to baby-sit
a few extra PC's in some out of the way dry corner of their house. The
DSL deal we might get from SWBell allows 5 static IP's and we would use
at most 4 of those with at most four Linux boxes (perhaps as few as 2).
That leaves at least one static IP address and plenty of download
bandwidth available for you. We will pay for the DSL and the extra
electricity. You can do anything you want to with your IP (as long as
it's legal and doesn't interfere with our relatively light server
traffic.)

If this sounds like fun please check with SWBell to make sure you can
get the service, then e-mail me at bvanarsdell@xxxxxxxxxxx
