Friends,

I am in the process of getting a server set up for
http://www.stirlingengine.com and it turns out that DSL that allows
servers with fixed IP's is available from SWBell.  ADSL is available for
$75.00 per month plus taxes with 5 IP's and a $350.00 setup fee.

Other companies such as Empower Communications 630-9434 [ask for Darren
Johnson ext 16] sell SDSL for $200/month for 528 K and 300/month for 1.5
meg.

The catch for both of these deals (and probably all other DSL deals in
Wichita) is that you need to be within 1 mile of the phone station. 
More distance is allowed for SDSL with SWBell but at slower speeds.

Stations are located at Central and Maize, West and (between 2nd & 3rd),
Broadway and 1st, Douglas and Oliver, Arkansas and 235, Rock and 37th,
Broadway and 47th, and one that covers all of Derby.  In general, the
closer you are to one of these locations, the better.
