This is another memory-related question, but this deals only with hardware...

I was looking at options for buying some additional RAM for my Linux box,
and there are a lot of options for PC100 SDRAM.

For each memory configuration, I have the option of CL2, CL3, and ECC
DIMMs. Also, for each of those three choices, I can chose either Registered
or Unregistered.

Bascially, since I can't tell which of those six options apply to the 64MB
PC100 SDRAM I already have in my machine and the company I got it from
doesn't seem to know either, I need to know which type to get that will
co-exist with my current memory. I noticed that the type significantly
affects the price, too.

Thanks,
John
