Oh, that's easy. Move the highlight bar over the heading "All packages" or
"Up to date installed packages" and hit the "-" key.  Everything will be
marked to uninstall. The ability to mark complete sections for install /
uninstall / hold can be useful, though you are right it should have some
mechanism for confirmation.
