I have had good luck with the kde mail client, it just not do spell check, and
I really need, it, and it keeps defaulting to the kbrowser, which does not do
java.   Nor security stuff.  In fact the only thing I have found which will
access my bank account is ie5.0  :-(  (talk about a slap in the face!) 
netscape in linux will not even access the bank website.  You must have a 128
bit encription, even netscape does not have anything that strong for linux.. 
not yet.  I want to get wine up and running and give windoz the heave ho, but I
am spoiled with my online banking, especially going to college all day and then
working until midnight!
