Do NOT change the partition type unless you want to reload all your
software. Changes in the master disk record can wipe out all existing data.
Are you sure there is a problem? It may just be a problem with cfdisk. Try
using the old fdisk and see what it says. Whatever you do, don't commit any
changes unless you are absolutely sure that it's okay.
