The first line is:
nameserver 127.0.0.1

The lines following that have the word "nameserver" followed by the IP
addresses of the domain name servers for my ISP.

Should that first line be there? I didn't have that there in the past. I
tried it both ways, and it doesn't make a difference. The Linux box is
still the only one that has DNS working.
