I've had it working using a windows box to actually play the files and
serve them through the linux box.  I see where there is an updated
shoutcast server for linux, so there may be problems lurking in the newer
version.  It will work, and if I get time this week I'll see if I can get
the newer version up and running.  Mind you, it will suck up all your
bandwith if you are on anything other than a cable modem...
