Any hardware based modem.  Try an Internal USR Sportster or Courier for
the best... make sure it's not a Sportster Winmodem!

If you get external, you're sure to get a modem that will work in Linux,
and you're sure to get a modem that will work on all future non-ISA
systems.

I've got a 66Mhz 486 system, and possibly a Pentium 100Mhz system... if
you want all or some of either of these systems, send me an e-mail and we
can negotiate.
