it's a commercial spread sheet i found from SAL.

it does everything i need and lots of things i don't.
it's as close to a excel for linux as i've found.

i forget how much it costs i THINK  it was $35 to register and $75 for disk and manual.
the is a demo that does just about everything including save.
it does have a guilt message that pops up everytime you stat it.

ok i think i got it.
and thanks to jim rosencutter.
the wk3 seemed to work.
i'll be doing clean up for a while but all the formulas seem to be there.
