[aclug-L] excel translator

does any one know of a translator for the current excel format(8.0 i think).
i have been looking for  rocketery altitude/performance software
for linux with no luck.
today i found a spread sheet that has everything i need, but
neither star office or Xess will translate it.

any help suggestions would be helpfull
