I can send you files, but I did not know if you wanted them bogging down

Hello Mike,

I am not sure exactly which distribution you have, so let me give you
some generic guidelines.

First, as a general rule, if your system requires configuration via
isapnp for a given device, then that device must be compiled as a
module in your kernel.

Then, you must make certain that isapnp is run, at boot, *before*
those particular modules are loaded.  If you are running Debian, this
should be done automatically for you, but it may not be on other
distributions.

It sounds to me that the problem you are experiencing is caused by
drivers being loaded before isapnp is run.
