Ok, I've got a question for any tex/latex/lyx experts out there.

The lyx, tetex, and tetex-latex don't come with a resume' document class.
However, I found a site:
http://tug.ctan.org/cgi-bin/filesearch.pl?FILESTRING=resume

that has resume.sty and res.sty. My question is, how do I get LyX to
'recognize' this new style, so that I can create new documents based on
this resume style?

If I'm using the wrong words, ignore me -- I simply want to have 'resume'
as an option analogous to aapaper, hollywood, letter, etc.

I see that those files are all in /usr/share/lyx/templates as *.lyx, and
I have res*.sty ... what needs to be done?

I tried tossing resume.sty in /usr/share/lyx/templates, and creating a new
document-from-template using it, and it came up without error, but also
without anything else (I'm not sure what should happen).

I looked through all the LyX, tex, and latex docs that I could find on the
web or on the system, but none of them pointed me towards 'adding a new
document class or style' that I could see.

Any pointers?
