[aclug-L] .au question

ok, i downloaded a bunch of sounds from the NeXT default sound set, and
they are all in .snd format...  when i try to run play <filename>.snd,
it tells me if it was from a NeXT machine, it's probably a .au file, so
i did a play -t .au <filename>.snd and it works great.. so i renamed
them to .au, and they work w/o any switches, BUT how do i convert them
to .wav for use w/ WindowMaker?
