Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. Getting him another sound card is
probably an option, if I can find something that's supported by Linux
cheaply. That was the main reason I wanted to leave the SB16 there, since
it works and I don't have to mess with it any more. The CDROM worked (under
Linux) on that system, it was just unbearably slow. Plus...I don't need a
sound card in the system I wanted to use the CDROM in. Oh well.
I don't want to spend much on this, any idea where I could get a used SB16?
