hey :)

ok, so you telnet to port 110 and log into a POP3 server by hand...doing a
LIST command prints an enumerated list of messages depicting their sizes
in 'octets'. so my question is: whats an octet (in relation to a byte)? is
it the same thing?

(i do this somtimes to delete big files that were bounced back)

just curious. thanks!
